Hello Fellow Sailors,

I am really glad that you have visited Better Sailing.

My name is Peter Kennedy and I currently liveaboard in Indonesia, one of the top sailing destinations in the world (or at least it should be). My family has been owning sailboats since the 80s. That is even before I was around. Together, we have sailed in most Greek islands and in some foreign countries as well. I am also a certified sailing instructor.

I was fascinated with sailing and sailboats since I can remember and falling in love with it every time I am out on the water. That is not to say that I have never wished to never step foot on a sailboat again but I think that most of us have.

The greatest vacations and most memorable moments of my life have been on a sailboat. My first vacation was on a sailboat, the first time I walked was on a sailboat and generally, I had the best time on our sailboat.

I started this website to share my knowledge that I have accumulated over the years in order to sail, maintain, and above all enjoy our beloved sailboats as best as we possibly can.
